Building trusted technology solutions for a changing world.

The FIEN Group brings decades of experience to modern technology, from trusted AI research platforms and accessibility-focused public communications to long-standing knowledge-based systems.

What we do

The FIEN Group operates at the intersection of structured information, modern web delivery, and practical technology solutions that organizations can actually use.

AI and Knowledge Systems

We support trusted research experiences built on known source collections, helping users move beyond broad open-internet AI results.

Accessibility and Public Communication

We value clear publishing, stakeholder communication, and accessible web experiences, especially for public-facing environments.

Long-Term Technology Perspective

Our work reflects decades of experience with structured information tools, evolving platforms, and real-world implementation.

Long-term software experience

The FIEN Group has been involved with Rocket Folio Software since its early years, beginning as one of the original Folio Business Partners during the DOS era.

We were also part of a select group that helped shape the original Windows version, contributing to the evolution of structured knowledge systems into more practical and accessible tools.

Our work continued into web delivery through siteDirector, helping bring Folio Infobases online and supporting long-term users who still rely on this content today.

  • Original Folio Business Partner during the DOS era
  • Contributor to the original Windows version
  • Web delivery through siteDirector
  • Support for hosted Folio Infobases up to version 4.6

This experience continues to inform our approach to structured information, search, and long-term usability.
